Hue University of Sciences had the reception of CompTIA

Attending the meeting, on the side of Hue University of Sciences, there were Dr.Tran Huu Tuyen, the Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Geology, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Tung, the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Dr. Le Van Tuong Lan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Quang Tuan, lecturer of the Faculty of Geography and Geology. From CompTIA, Mr. Dennis Kwok, Vice President of Asia Pacific CompTIA, Mr. Charles Singh, Country Manager and Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong, assistant staff in Vietnam.

CompTIA is the world’s leading technology association, focusing on developing professional certifications for the information technology programs (independent on any industry or technology), public advocacy and information technology association in the world. CompTIA has set up the industry standards, skill development and knowledge and understanding creation in accordance with the non-stop development of information technology.

The Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung welcomed the delegation from CompTIA to Hue University of Sciences. At the meeting, the CompTIA representative introduced some teaching programs on information technology; CompTIA as the non-profit trade association; skill certifications on the information technology at the international level issued by CompTIA and shared some achievements gained in some countries especially in Asia Pacific. Both sides had the discussions on the cooperative possibilities and will keep in touch to specify the cooperative plans in the future.
