Working with Mr. Noritomo Hato, Representative of Ritsumeikan University, Japan in Vietnam
In the morning of 23th January, Assco.Prof. Hoang Van Hien, Rector, University of Sciences, Hue University had a meeting with Mr. Noritomo Hato, Representative of Ritsumeikan University, Japan in Vietnam.
Also attending the meeting, there was Dr. Nguyen Truong Tho, Head of Office for Science-Technology and International Relations of HUSC.
Established in 1900, Ritsumeikan University is now one of Japan's leading private universities. Ritsumeikan University is considered to be one of Japan's top class universities, and is especially well known for its International Relations program which has been ranked as first place in Japan. There are 14,000 foreign students studying in Ritsumeikan University. Over the century, the Ritsumeikan Trust has evolved into a comprehensive educational institution consisting of two universities (Ritsumeikan University and Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University); three senior high schools; three junior high schools and one Primary school.
At the meeting, Assoc.Prof. Hoang Van Hien had a speech to welcome Mr. Noritomo Hato to visit HUSC and also affirmed this would be a good opportunity for HUSC to expand the relationship with various partners from Japan.
The two universities also discussed about the possibility of cooperation in the near future.
