The Rector’s trip in Japan
From February 9 to February 14, 2019, Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hien, the Rector of Hue University of Sciences paid the visit to some companies in Japan according to the invitation of Brycen company. The delegation also included Mr. Nguyen Kim Dung – Former president of Hue City Party Committee, Mr. Bao Minh – Vice Chairman of Japan - Vietnam Center cum Director of ABM Limited Liability one member Commerce and Tourism company, Mr. Hoang Trong Nam – representative of HCC company. From Brycen Vietnam LLC, there were Mr. Masaru Fujiki – Chairman, Mr. Kazuaki Terunuma – Vice Chairman and other members.
Brycen Japan LLC established in April 1986 is a software company in terms of application and software, website development, application support and automated sale development in accordance with the demand forecasting, DTP organization (image processing and map edition), etc. The company focuses on training the talents and improving the qualification through Offshore development – operating and maintaining orders from Japan, supplying the cheapest products with high quality based on the operation mechanism as well as knowledge and skill accumulation, aiming to broaden the market in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Brycen Vietnam in Thua Thien Hue founded in 2013, is a branch office with 100% capital investment from Brycen Japan LLC. The company currently has about 250 people, among them are most of former students of Hue University of Sciences.
On February 10 – 12, the delegation visited the new branch of the company located in Tottori (under construction), and then visited some main branches in Tokyo. Both sides introduced the history, the process of development and major activities. Addressing at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hien appreciated the collaborative efficiency with Japanese partners in the previous time and hoped to continue cooperating with Brycen company in the coming time. He also proposed some cooperative ideas such as facilitating the students of the University of Sciences to intern in the company and offering the opportunity for the excellent students to Japan; joint training and developing integrated curriculum; joint project conducting; specialized Japanese training from Brycen company; both sides continue discussing to finalize the cooperative contents and signing the MOU in the coming time.
Mr. Masaru Fujiki from Brycen company also appreciated the cooperative efficiency and expected that the university continued to facilitate the recruitment of excellent students and the increase of students working for the company based on the cooperative relationship.
The delegation also visited Astro company which manufactures hardware for advanced equipment of the world, especially 8K technology with 8K resolution, the number of pixels is four times greater than 4K resolution, contributing to the super picture quality and the greatest resolution. Mr. Shigeaki Suzuki – the company chairman said that this new technology not only served for the entertainment and art but also for education and medicine. He expected to have the collaboration with Hue University of Sciences in term of training and research as well as to recruit the university’s graduates who are majored in information technology, physics, electronics and telecommunications, etc. and have the capacity to work for the company in Japan and Vietnam.
Pursuant to the consistence among 3 parties, by March 18, 2019, the Agreement of Cooperation will be signed to promote the relationship between Hue University of Sciences with Brycen company and to establish the new relationship with Astro company. This is a good opportunity for the university’s students to receive the great support in the process of learning, research and intership as well as to be able to work for these companies after graduation.
