The delegates of the University of South Carolina’s visit to Hue University of Sciences
On March 26, Hue University of Sciences welcomed the delegates from the University of South Carolina. Assoc. Prof. Ha Van Hanh - Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Truong Tho - Head of the Office for Science – Technology & International Relations and Dr. Huynh Thi Anh Phuong - Dean of the Faculty of Social Work participated in the meeting.
From the University of South Carolina, there were Prof. Joan Gabel, Provost and Executive President for Academic Affairs and Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Huong, Global Carolina Regional Director for Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Assoc. Prof. Ha Van Hanh sent the warm welcome and introduced some research and training activities that Hue University of Sciences have been conducting as well as the achievements that the university obtained through the international cooperation.

At the meeting, the discussion on the support from the University of South Carolina for the Faculty of Social Work; for example, the teaching activities for students, experience sharing in the field of training and practicing social work via online training. Moreover, both sides also talked about the lecturer and student exchange, academic exchange and joint research as well as conference co-organization.
The representatives of both universities agreed to conduct some activities before signing the MOU in the coming time.
