326 Prizes Awarded to Students at Hue - ICT Challenge 2025
On the evening of March 23, the Organizing Committee of Hue-ICT Challenge 2025 hosted the Closing and Award Ceremony for the Secondary School Programming Contest, marking the successful conclusion of this year’s final round.
The event honored a total of 326 winners across three competition tracks (PRO CHALLENGE, NAÏ CHALLENGE, and JUNIOR CHALLENGE) with prizes including 3 Championship Titles, 39 First Prizes, 58 Second Prizes, 83 Third Prizes, and 143 Consolation Prizes. Additionally, nine schools were recognized for their strong participation and outstanding performance. The total prize value awarded in this year’s student division reached VND 120 million, reflecting the scale and growing impact of the competition.
The event attracted significant attention from a diverse range of participants, representatives from Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and Training, Hue University, the Vietnam Informatics Association, Hue Union of Science and Technology Associations, partnering organizations, sponsors, school representatives, parents, and all 451 finalists of the competition.
According to the Organizing Committee, the preliminary round of Hue-ICT Challenge 2025 attracted an impressive 2,133 students from 537 schools across 54 provinces and cities nationwide. Following a rigorous selection process, the 451 top-performing students advanced to the final round, which took place on the morning of March 23 at the University of Sciences, Hue University. Finalists competed in three categories based on their prior registration: 129 students in the PRO CHALLENGE, 241 students in the NAÏ CHALLENGE, and 81 students in the JUNIOR CHALLENGE.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Hoang Bao Hung, President of the Hue Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications and Co-Chair of the Organizing Committee, emphasized the remarkable growth and impact of the Hue-ICT Challenge over the years: Over the past four years, the Hue-ICT Challenge has grown into a prestigious intellectual platform, attracting more than 6,000 students nationwide. The increasing number of participating schools and students each year reflects the competition’s expanding reach and influence. To meet the enthusiasm of younger students, including those in lower secondary and even primary school -we have expanded the contest to include three divisions: PRO CHALLENGE - NAÏ CHALLENGE và JUNIOR CHALLENGE. This evolution underscores the competition’s growing impact within the community”. He added: “The relentless effort of the students is the true success of this competition. We hope that today’s recognition will inspire them to pursue their learning journeys with passion for information technology - ready to embrace challenges and thrive in the future”.

a 9D student from Truong Han Sieu Secondary School (Ninh Binh)
Following the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung, Rector of the University of Sciences, Hue University and Co-Chair of the Organizing Committee, officially launched the Hue -ICT Challenge 2026. He expressed hopes that the competition will continue to grow and provide valuable opportunities for students to explore and develop their talents in information technology on a national platform.
