On the afternoon of May 16,  Talkshow titled “New Learning Styles – Leading the Trend with AI” hosted by the University of Sciences, Hue University, attracted enthusiastic participation from students across various faculties. The event aimed to provide students with practical knowledge and skills for effectively integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into their academic learning and research.

During the program, speakers introduced and analyzed the real-world effectiveness of over 15 cutting-edge AI tools that are reshaping students’ approaches to learning and research. Notable tools highlighted included:

- ChatGPT: Supports content comprehension, critical thinking practice, and self-assessment.

- Gemini (Google): Offers robust academic search capabilities and synthesizes information from multiple sources.

- Microsoft Copilot: Acts as a smart assistant across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, aiding in document drafting, chart creation, and data analysis..

In addition, specialized tools such as Notion AI, SlidesGPT, Perplexity, Elicit, Quillbot, Canva AI, and Tome AI were introduced, helping students design presentations, draft academic content, and effectively synthesize information.

Speakers also emphasized that AI is not a replacement for human thinking but a powerful tool that helps learners save time, enhance critical thinking, grasp concepts more thoroughly, and present research in a more logical and scientific manner. The application of AI further contributes to improving students’ professional presentation skills while fostering a modern, confident, and effective learning style.

Alongside its benefits, the program also raised important cautions regarding the potential misuse of AI, such as plagiarism, overdependence on technology, and uncritical content replication. To address these concerns, students were encouraged to develop a “digital ethics filter” - the ability to verify, validate, and critically evaluate information, avoiding blind trust in AI and using technology responsibly and intelligently.

A highlight of the talkshow was the launch of the “7-Day New Learning with AI” challenge, which invites students to explore and master a different AI tool each day. Through this hands-on experience, participants are encouraged to share their outcomes and gradually develop intelligent, strategic, and learning habits.

Through this talkshow, students were equipped with foundational knowledge and essential skills to develop flexible learning methods, critical thinking, academic integrity, and effective technological integration in their studies. These elements are crucial in fostering a dynamic, proactive, and innovative learning environment in the digital era.
