The University of Sciences delegation undertook an international business trip as part of the ERASMUS - FOREST Project
From January 1 to January 8, Assoc. Prof. Tran Anh Tuan, Lecturer from Faculty of Environmental Science and Assoc. Prof. Tran Thi Ai My, Lecturer from Faculty of Chemistry, both affiliated with the University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC), had a business trip to Tomar Technology School. Additionally, from January 7 to January 13, Dr. Tran Thi Phuong An, Deputy Head of the Office for Science - Technology and International Relations, also conducted a business trip to Montanunitat Leoben University in Austria. Both of these business trips are part of the ERASMUS – FOREST Project framework.
The ERASMUS – FOREST project, funded by the European Commission, is designed to enhance the capacity of Vietnamese universities by providing support for the development of new Master's training programs aligned with European Bologna standards. This initiative aims to boost the employability of students after graduation. The construction of the Master's training program within the framework of the FOREST project targets to address important topics that students need to grasp to integrate better into rapidly developing social context. University of Sciences, Hue University is one of the partner institutions of the FOREST project.
During the business trip, HUSC lecturers engaged in a range of training sessions, including Teaching learning and assessment (T&L&A) methods, Flipped Classroom techniques, and building a European standard training program. They also participated in discussions regarding the future direction of the project. Notably, the team deliberated on exchange activities involving lecturers and students between the University of Sciences and partnering universities in Italy, Sweden, and Portugal…
