Meeting with the delegates from the Polytechnic University of Marche, Italy

From the Polytechnic University of Marche, there were Prof. Eva Savina Malinverni, Project Coordinator, Full Professor in Geomatics; Prof. Antonello Alici, Director of Italy - Vietnam international cooperation program and Dr. Roberto Pierdicca, Researcher in geomatics. From Hue University of Sciences, the representatives of the Faculties of History, Architecture, Information Technology, Geography and Geology, Prof. Hoang Van Hien – Project coordinator and other project members of the protocol project on orientated solutions to preserve national cultural heritage associated with tourism development in Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue provinces on the basic of information technology application attended the meeting.

Addressing at the meeting, Dr. Phan Tuan Anh highly appreciated the collaboration between Hue University of Sciences and the Polytechnic University of Marche through the research on orientated solutions to preserve national cultural heritage associated with tourism development in Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue provinces on the basic of information technology application. The project contents and objectives were realistic and the research findings have brought many benefits to the preservation of national cultural heritages aiming to the local tourism development.

Both sides had further discussion about the mutual interests in terms of scientific research, technology transfer and training curriculums. Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hien, the project coordinator and other members had the reports on the project progress, the coming tasks and expectations to receive the support from the Italian Embassy in Vietnam and from the professors of the Polytechnic University of Marche.
