MOU signing with Canvas Gate Co. Ltd., Japan

On the morning of December 8, University of Sciences, Hue University had a meeting and signed a memorandum of understanding with Canvas Gate Co., Ltd., Japan.

The participants included Assoc.Prof. Vo Thanh Tung, Rector; Assoc.Prof. Tran Ngoc Tuyen, Vice Rector; Dr. Tran Thanh Luong, Head of Office for Undergraduate Education and Student Affairs and Dr. Tran Thi Phuong An, Vice Head of Office for Science, Technology and International Relations. From Canvas Gate Co., Ltd., Japan, there were Mr. Kazuyoshi Aoki, Director; Ms. Kanako Aoki, Deputy Director; Ms. Phan Bao Tran, International Education and Development Coordinator in Hue; Ms. Truong Quy Gia Bao, International Education and Development Coordinator in Hue; Ms. Nguyen Ai Thanh, interpreter; Dr. Hoang Kim Toan, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Hue University.

At the meeting, Mr. Kazuyoshi Aoki introduced about the company, cooperation programs with company’s partners in Japan. Both sides had the discussion about internship programs in Japan such as: the needs of current students and graduate students for their practice and work; necessary skills, cultural exchange; foreign language requirement is Japanese; the basic salary of students when they practice or work in Japan...

Assoc. Prof. Vo Thanh Tung, Rector welcomed the delegation of Canvas Gate Co. Ltd., Japan to visit and sign the initial cooperation agreement with the University. The University of Sciences always gives students the opportunity to enhance their study specialization as well as commits to provide high-quality human resources to employers. At the same time, University of Sciences gives opportunities for exchange and cooperation in training and fostering organizations; scientific research; technology transfer, cooperation in communication, brand development as well as creating conditions for students to study, practice and work in Japan if they meet the requirements.

Both sides entered the agreement and signed the MOU for facilitating the educational projects including academic exchange, student exchange, scholarships, internships, fostering of students’ profession and research and other agreed terms.
