Hosting a reception with Prof.Dr. Tsutsui Kazunobu, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Regional Sciences, Tottori University, Japan

The University of Sciences, Hue University (HUSC) has signed MOU with Tottori since 2009. Prof.Dr. Tsutsui Kazunobu has played an active and important role in forming the relationship between HUSC and Tottori University. In April, 2022, HUSC awarded Honorary Professor to Prof.Dr. Tsutsui Kazunobu in recognition of his contributions.

At the meeting, Prof.Dr. Tsutsui Kazunobu introduced the JSPS project in Vietnam with the topic “Study on Possibility of Neoendogenous Rural development in Mid Vietnam and Monsoon Asia under KASO Depopulation”. The purpose of project is to promote international research cooperation with young researchers abroad.

Research contents include: planning for researchers under 40 years old to register new research projects (approved under the competitive system); Plan, review and improve the internship program on community development under the JSPS Project, bringing experiences of rural life in Vietnam to young students in Vietnam and Japan; Field study on cooperatives in rural areas, voluntary tourism, and the issue of "leaving the city to the countryside" with geographical researchers of HUSC.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vo Thanh Tung – Rector welcomed Prof.Dr. Tsutsui KAZUNOBU – Honorary Professor of HUSC came to work and cooperate with the University to implement the above project. The university will create all legal, procedural, physical and human conditions for the project to take place smoothly.
