MOU signing ceremony between University of Sciences, Hue University and King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang

The name of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang was derived from the name of Thailand’s King Mongkut, ranking 350 top universities in the world, the top in Thailand and the third in Southeast Asia. The University of Sciences and KMITL have established the cooperation since April 2018, accordingly, both sides have proposed many cooperative contents including training, student exchange and joint workshop organization. KMITL expected to organize some workshops and seminars presented by experts from TMITL, conduct the student exchange and joint research aiming at comparing the architectural similarity and difference between two countries.

The rector Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hien stated that the MOU signing was vital for the development of the University of Sciences and KMITL. The cooperative contents mentioned in the MOU were scholar exchange, student exchange, short term training programs, research implementation and project development, academic information exchange and exchange of scientific publications.

Both sides would have the opportunity to improve the academic strengths. The positive activities would be promoted to turn the provisions of the MOU into effective. Accordingly, on August 13, the workshop on The Dynamic of Cultural Heritage of Thailand and Vietnam was held at the Faculty of Architecture.
